Job Role
She joined the Colégio Catarina de Bragança team in September 2022. She is responsible for coordinating administrative, operational and financial activities.
Curriculum
She has a degree in Marine Biology and Fisheries, in the Ecology area, from the Universidade do Algarve, she has a master’s degree in Nature Management and Conservation from the same institution. She began her professional career in scientific research projects at the Universidade do Algarve and the Ria Formosa Natural Park. In 2002, she started working as a cultural mediator in the Parks and Monuments classified as Cultural Landscape – World Heritage by UNESCO, managed by Sintra´s Parks– Monte da Lua. She fell in love with Sintra and communicating with the public, discovering a new vocation. In 2005, she took over the coordination of the company’s Educational Service, where she worked for 17 years. Among her responsibilities, the management of the educational programme for all monuments and public segments stood out, with a special focus on the school public. The experience of working for and with schools awakened in her a strong appeal for a new professional challenge. Driven by the conviction that Education is a fundamental sector for humanity, she decided to dedicate herself more closely to this area, combining her experience and passion for training and learning.
Personal note
Motherhood is the most transformative and challenging experience of her life, filling her with gratitude and wonder as she watches her child grow. Family is her haven of peace, happiness and love. Passionate about books since she was a child, she finds them an indispensable companion in her daily life. During her youth, she was part of a philharmonic band as a flutist and, currently, he dedicates himself to ballroom dancing in her spare time. She loves traveling, being in contact with nature and is fascinated by the sea.
