Job Role
She is the Pedagogical Director of Colégio Catarina de Bragança. She is also responsible for the Nursery and Preschool, and she is also part of the Pedagogical Board.
Curriculum
She has a degree in Early Childhood and Primary Education from the Escola Superior de Educação Maria Ulrich, she joined Colégio Catarina de Bragança in 2002, for a work placement, and began her career as an early childhood teacher in 2005. Since 2010, she has been responsible for the pedagogical coordination of Preschool and, in the same year, the Nursery. Between 2010 and 2019, she became the pedagogical coordinator for both areas, playing a central role in the development of the school’s educational practices. She has qualifications and certifications in the areas of the Modern School Movement and the Reggio Emilia Approach, which she implements at the school. She is also a certified instructor, providing training to school teams. Her commitment to education extends to volunteering, where she trains adults in the areas of positive parenting and parent training, reflecting her dedication to promoting educational practices that value children, families, and educators.
Personal note
Education is her mission, and she is passionate about exploring innovative processes of child development and learning. She is dedicated in creating unique environments and integrates her research into teaching practices with the team. She loves travelling, visiting beaches, dancing, fashion, reading and spending time with friends and family.
